*New Tutorial! Blue Makeup* =]

Hello Lovelies!

It's been a Long while since I've made an actual post again, and this time I have a new look for you girlies =]. It's a nice blue look for the party time or going out =).

I was inspired by my new friend Jenny who loves the color blue haha. I've tried to tone down my dramatic-ness (? xD) techniques by not bringing the color too high to the brow bone and keeping it near the lid part of the eye only.

My friend Jenny has a slight crease on her eyelids, so this was a bit of a challenge for me to put makeup on her for the color to show up when she opens her eyes. But the outcome was great and perfect! =D

Hehe, =] this was a fun makeup look to do =] and I love the way it come out. Plus she is so pretty ... made me kinda jealous ... hahahs =P ... Shhh! =x.

I used only drugstore makeup for this look! -, Revlon, Wet N' Wild, and Maybelline.

1) Put a light shimmer blue all over lid.

2) Put a light -medium blue on inner lids.

3) Put dark ocean blue on outer half of lid and line eyes with this color.

4) Put a darker ashy-grey blue on outer corners.

5) Line eyes, curl lashes, and mascara like usual.

6) Do what you would usually do to glam up your hair =]. Here, I curled Jenny's hair with a 1" straightener.

YoutTube Inspired Post

Hello all =]

Happy late New Year.. xp. Sorry I haven't posted any new blogs in a long long while. But here is one of them =]! I have been on Youtube a lot recently and I've wanted to do this tag. It's called " My Imperfections Tag". No one tagged me lol but I wanna do this anyway =].

So the jist of the tag is to post 3 things that you DON'T like about yourself and 3 things that you DO like about yourself. Easy enough right? =] let's start! =P.

3 of my 'perfections'
1) My Eyelids:
Most of you might not notice this until you guys look at it very very carefully, but my eyelids are actually not symmetrical with each other. You can probably find one of my older pics on here. One of my eyelid creases are 'deeper' than the other and higher, so when I put on my makeup, it's often hard for me to make then look even because when i look up, one of my eye makeup is barely visible.

2) My Body Figure:
I know that most girls are not completely satisfied with their physical appearance.. and I'm one of them Xp. I don't like how I'm so 'full' in some parts of my body, so its kinda hard for me to find slimming looking clothing. As an Asian, I'm very attracted to the slender, straight -figured type of girls( not in a homosexual way xp ) Most girls in the Asian community are very very slim, smaller chested girls, and when they wear their clothing, it seems more fitting, and better looking xP lol idk. I just wish I had a better slimmer body, but I know that no matter how much exercise I do, my glass figure with wide hips won't go away... xp lol



3) My Acne Prone Skin:
Since I was a preteen, I've started to have a lot of acne problems, and my skin is Very oily. xP usually withihin a few hours, my face looks really greasy, looking like a grease ball xp. I don't have severe acne, but sometimes lots of big spots here and there. I have very low self-esteem when it comes to my skin and physical appearance.. But now it's starting to get a bit better with using the right products.


Now the good part =] lol 3 things I Like about myself <3~
1) My Big eyes:
Even though the lids are uneven, I like how big my eyes naturally are, without geo lenses =].

2) My Collar Bones:
Even though I am a bit Meaty, my collar bones are still very visible, which I like very much when I wear v-necks or dresses.

3) My Personality:
I like my bold personality xp. I can be really open with people. Like when I'm in class, xp I won't be shy to ask classmates things about class or anything.. xp lol something that is kinda hard i.m.o in colleges and universities. I like how I'm mostly funny too hehe =].

Feel free to do this 'tag' as well! =] and share some of your perfections and imperfections, But don't be on the down side about yourself =/. Remember that everyone is different, so we should try and stick to what we like about ourselves =]

*Purple Passion Nails *

Hellooo all =]

So I've decided to share some of my nail 'art' lol.. I have a big interest in nail art and nail painting actually, even though I'm not that good at it xP..




I am not very skilled at all when it comes to painting with my left hand.. do you ladies have taht problem as well?.. lol
My favorite color is purple =] so I love to paint my nails that color x)





I've decided to pain my nails a metallic purple color from Brucci from the drugstore. It's a nice medium shade of purple with a hint of blue tints to it so it makes it look somewhat voilet. =] really pretty!

I added a heart from using white nailpolish and a few coats of clear glitter nailpolish on top. Sorry for the bad quality of the camera... but I hope you all enjoy and have fun with your nails! =]

Hello Ladies!

This is been a long overdue tag of the "I Love Your Blog Tag"
from Rinny. Thank you for the tag =). ok, so here we go:

1. Why did you create this blog?
I wanted to create this blog inspired by Rinny. I wanted to share my love for makeup =] because I'm usually a conservative type of girl, so posting my makeup online would be a greater way to share my looks since I rarely wear them out..xP

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
I follow mostly beauty makeup blogs, some are from youtubers who have blogs, and some of my subbies too =).

3. Favorite makeup brand?
I don't really have a favorite makeup brand, but I do mostly prefer drugstore over higher-ends since I'm still a college student and living under my mom's roof xPP

4. Favorite clothing brand?
I like Aeropostale because their hoodies are so comfy =] and affordable when they have sales. I feel like their Tees are really fitting for females too, and their polos.

5. Your indispensable makeup product:
mmm... I would pick concealer, it does wonders!


6. Your favorite color:
Purple =))

7. Your Perfume:
I don't have a big collection of perfume since i don't. but if body sprays count then I usually use Bath and Body Work's cherry blossom body spray.. I think it might have been discontinued now.

8. Your favorite film:
I really adore Princess Diaries xD, the Pretty Woman =], and Pursuit of happiness.

9. What country would you like to visit and why?
I would like to visit China =) because it is my home country and I have never been back before since the last time i visit when I was a baby. They have really cheap clothes and makeup and .. everything! lol =]]]] can't wait to go with Rinny one day. ^_~

10. Make the last question yourself and answer:
Favorite singer?
answer: for guys, I really like JJ lin, Wang leehom, seven, Big Bang, Far East Movement, Wilber Pan.
for girls, I really like Charmaine from Twins, Miriam Yang, Jolin Tsai, Rainie Yang, and I can't think of anymore lol but I usually listen to more Asian songs than American ones..

*Holiday Look for 2010!!! * =)

Helloooo Everyone!

I know it's been a long while.. again xD since I've updated, but since I'm off for the winter break, I will have a lot more time with you lovely ladies to share my passion for makeup once again ^-^! So Christmas is coming around the corner and I've decided to share my Holiday Eye Makeup that I have come up with =). I have been around YouTube a lot and I noticed that a lot of beuty gurus have made a lot of holiday looks using silver and green.

So I have decided to add my own twist to the typical eye makeup with more of a red look to it. I tried making the look not too red so it's easier for all of types of people to pull it off.

I used mainly 3 colors for this look: a hot pink / bright coral, a subtle gold, and a green eyeshadow color...
From the flash, you can't really tell how dramatic it is, but in other pics you can see my look is more of vivid colors. I know that should've kept it toned down a bit. But hey xD I'm a more dramatic eyeshadow type of girl. I have tried to do other looks light handed sorta with more natural colors, but I don't know why everytime I try I just end up with smokey looks lol. But if any of you ladies would like to try this look out, feel free to tone down the colors. Use a more softer pink instead of a vivid coral, and tone down with a milk green instead of a metalic green.


Stuff I used:
Eyes- a shimmer gold (from a Sephora 84 colors palette~ in the inner corners)
a hot pink blush that I don't use anymore ~as my outer corner color
green eye pencil from Sephora's line~ under my lash line as a base
vivid green color (from Sephora 84 colors palette~ over the green base for pop of color)
white shimmer eyesshadow (Milani's single shadow in Lily White - for inner tear duct)
Black eyeshadow to line my eyes
Falsies (gift by Rinny that's an Asian brand)

Cheeks - my own blushed that I've mixed

Lips - Chapstick
Wet N' Wild lip gloss in Cherish.
